Point 18-Opening sequence story idea.

For our opening sequence we have decided after watching some more opening sequence such as Carrie that have a slightly darker feel to them. Our opening titles will show a girl travelling through the woods maybe along a path, she will be looking over her shoulder and will be messy looking. She will open a backpack containing odd items that will make the audience question there meaning, such as a  note book e.g. The titles will go across the screen showing the Production company's name (my little life) and some main character and staff names, these will all be in the style of the piece and maybe in a scracky font that flickers on the screen. There will be a lulling soothing backtrack with an that maybe joined with an audio track of people screaming or begging. The girl will look flustered and upset. This will fade out to just one person's voice maybe a mother and then the Film title.

Point 17-Defining the key elements to include in our final sequence

After looking at our ideal audience and decided to aim our movie at teenage girls and then looking at the Dean website we desided to ask what girls our age want to see in a movie so we can make our opening sequence specialised to there wants....

Extra-Movies with similar themes to mine.

After planning my opening sequence I looked into other films with similar themes to ours. One that although has a male protagonist is very similar to how we would like to convey our movie is We need to talk about Kevin. It is Creepy and intriguing.

The main character is played by Ezra Miller

His look is basicly what we are looking for but in a female. Our main characters face will not be shown close up during the first few titles but will still have to have an unnerving look about her. This will be helped by the story line.

Ezra Miller also starred in Perks of being a Wall flower a LionGate film.

Point 16-Research into Institutions

I have researched which institutions would be best to produce, distribute and exhibit my film. After speaking to my class mates I have decided that the best people exhibit my film would be large corporate cinema chains such as vue and cineworld. They are well known by people my age and are seen as safe and 'comfortable'. Teens will not have to leave there comfort zone to  visit un unknown independent cinema. Since teen will already  be visiting there local cinema chain it seems very logical to advertice our movie during the previews of other thrillers films with the same themes and ideal audince as our. If our movie was to come out in 2015 then we could purchance the advertising space at the begining of films such as 'The Hunger games-Mocking Jay' and 'The fault in our stars.'
Idealy our film would be produced by Liongate as they already have much experience will moives with similar filsm to ours. It could produced by Baz Luhrann, Stephen Chbosky, Jason Reitman or Edgar Wright for the same reason.
